Many people find it comforting to know they are not alone in their grief experience. We offer regular support groups for bereaved adults looking for a safe, supportive environment in which to explore their feelings of loss.
Hospice Halifax Bereavement Support Group
Free-of-charge, year-round, drop-in group sessions take place every Saturday morning, excluding holiday weekends, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at 618 Francklyn Street in Halifax. This group offers men and women grieving the death of a loved one a confidential time to share their concerns, triumphs, and day-to-day experiences. Trained facilitators guide discussion and provide information on grief and loss. Coffee and tea are served at each session.
