Hike for Hospice May 7, 2017
Registration is open! Consider joining us as we raise funds to develop Halifax’s first free-standing residential hospice. Last year we raised over $34,000, our biggest and most successful hike to date.

Angel Tree – November and December 2017
One of our best-known, longest standing community events. During the holiday season, we invite people to purchase golden, glittery angels, in memory of someone special, to hang on a Hospice Halifax Christmas tree in Halifax Regional Municipality. Community members often remark how rewarding it can be to publically honour their loved one during the holidays.

Holiday Grief – December 2017
Coping with grief or loss during the holiday season can be particularly difficult. Hospice Halifax presents a free-of-charge community talk with guest speakers who specialize in working with bereaved people. Discussions include what to expect during the holidays and how to help others who are experiencing grief or loss.

Feeling the Love – February 2018
Our signature Valentine’s gala at The Westin Nova Scotian hotel features live jazz bands, sultry performances, a delicious meal, lounge-themed décor, and iconic photo booth. It’s a very special night.

Annual General Meeting – March 2018
Our annual general meeting is a great way to catch up on news, review the society’s progress and financial standing, and gather with like-minded people. Read previous annual general meeting reports.
