Hospice Halifax supports people affected by a life-limiting illness, death or bereavement.
All citizens of the Halifax Regional Municipality affected by life-limiting illness have access to the programs and services needed to live fully and die well in a caring, compassionate environment of their choice.
–To establish residential hospices to provide the option to die in a home-like setting for those who cannot or who choose not to die at home.
